Put your name on your own papers: sign in with your ORCID iD, see which of your published works are already signed under your name, and claim the rest. Your typed claims go on the public append-only log under your identity. Free, and signing keys are issued by hand.
The full kit: the citation record on every major paper page, plus everything CiteStamp does inside Overleaf. Nothing else to install for either. Your watchlist rides along on the toolbar icon, so a retraction on something you cited reaches you without being asked for.
There is no separate Overleaf install. The extension above carries it: add the extension, then open one of your projects and CiteStamp is there. It wakes on a project page (overleaf.com/project/…), not on the project list, so open a document before looking for it. Chrome or another Chromium browser, since that is where the extension runs.
Free, and it is the whole check: a panel that reads your bibliography and reports each reference — does it resolve, does the title match the DOI it claims, is it marked retracted by the publisher, does it carry recorded refutations. It finds everything the automatic version finds. Putting the papers you cite on your watchlist is free too.
Pro ($35/year) automates it: the same check runs as you write instead of when you ask, typing @cite in the editor opens a picker that searches the literature and drops the BibTeX entry in at your cursor, and every reference you cite by DOI is enrolled on your watchlist so a later retraction reaches your toolbar icon.
