The check runs in your browser and never sends us your bibliography, and it stays free inside the Word, Overleaf and Zotero panels, watchlist included. Free and Pro find exactly the same things; Pro does them without being asked. Pro exists for people who write in those editors, for programs that lean on the graph API, and for anyone who wants an independent citation graph to keep existing.
