The graph is free. Actually free.

Not trial-free, not 5-graphs-a-month free. Walking the map, asking it, reading any paper page, signing your own work, and checking a bibliography are all unlimited and all need no account. The check runs in your browser and never sends us your bibliography, and it stays free inside the Word, Overleaf and Zotero panels, watchlist included. Free and Pro find exactly the same things; Pro does them without being asked. Pro exists for people who write in those editors, for programs that lean on the graph API, and for anyone who wants an independent citation graph to keep existing.

everything most researchers will ever need
  • Walk the graph — every identifier gets a public page and a map, unlimited
  • Ask the graph — anonymous over REST or MCP, 10 asks a minute, no key
  • Claim & sign your own work with ORCID — typed claims on the public log
  • Citation-health check — unlimited references, no account, in-browser
  • The check in every panel too — Word, Overleaf, Zotero — and literature search in the Word panel
  • Inline citation picker on the web — search and insert, in your browser
  • A watchlist you fill by hand — add any paper, re-checked daily against publisher retraction notices

What Pro is today — no previews. Every line in the Pro column above is live right now; this page never lists a feature that does not exist yet. More Pro is being built, and when something ships, it appears here the day it works — not before. The citation data itself is CC0 and always will be: you are never paying for the data. How this stacks up against everything else — the receipts, line by line.
